When you say "global menu" do you mean the launcher? You can use this
askubuntu question, http://askubuntu.com/questions/10228/whats-the-
right-terminology-for-unitys-ui-elements, to clarify your bug report.
There's a known bug for right hand primary monitor set ups. I'll try
and find it as I think this is probably a duplicate bug of that, but
first could you confirm my suspicion of misused terminology?
