** Changed in: unity
Milestone: None => 3.8.16
** Description changed:
+ === Test case ===
+
+ 1. Install Unity 3.8.16 from natty-proposed
+ 2. Install compizconfig-settings-manager and run it (ccsm in a terminal)
+ 3. Alt+F2 "about:config" <enter>
+ 4. Click on "Experimental" tab and change the opacity of the panel using the
slider to under 1.0
+ 5. Open the Dash using the Ubuntu button
+ 6. Observe that the button remains at the same transparency as before the
Dash opened

I have set the top panel to partially transparent through ccsm. On
clicking the dash button, the button ignores the transparency setting
and becomes opaque. I have added screenshots to show the issue more
clearly.
