FWIW, my 3830T works fine with the patch and setting EAPD as described in #38. Also switches automatically between speakers and minijack when I plug in headphones. I have only tested mic by blowing air and whistling toward where the camera is and elsewere, and do not have a mic to plug in, but based on my blowing and whistling it does not seem to pick up any sound. I've tried switching between analog microphone and internal microphone in the mixer, and with analog microphone (and me not pluggin in a mic) and then it goes complete silent (indicator stops moving). With analog microphone active, it jumps around, but I do not seem to be able to affect it much by blowing and whisteling.
