Guest session does not inherit account specific settings. The problem is that the default settings of some applications make them be launched automatically, unless the user choose to disable it, and that the latter opportunity is not applicable to guest sessions, since they always start with a fresh environment. Changing back to the old summary for now, which at least is correct.
Please see http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1566078 for a way to fix the problem. ** Summary changed: - Guest session inherits "Startup Applications" of account it was started from + Lack of configurability for guest session -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/708982 Title: Lack of configurability for guest session To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gdm-guest-session/+bug/708982/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
