Switch to "Now Playing" and activate full-screen mode. I think it should probably inhibit the screensaver and consequently the suspend/hibernate- on-idle then.
Apart from that, I think people generally leave Banshee playing music in the background and just leave the computer to idle when they go away from the keyboard.
