Yes, I believe I removed the previous version and installed the latest 
one offered here. But as I said, due to me running the latest oneiric 
linux 3.0 rc5 kernel, I may not be the best test person currently. Until 
I get back from vacation, I'm not going to experiment to much either, as 
I depend on the machine working until I get back. The reason for moving 
to the oneiric kernel was to get stable wifi.

FWIW, I also disabled the hda_analyzer autoupgrade (download and run), 
and just run the latest version I had before going on vacation, so if 
there are any important changes to that piece of software that I need to 
test, please let me know and I will refresh my version.
