@eoerl
Hi eoerl, It didn't work for me, I created the screen section because I
didn't have one but after reboot It the X's stop working. Then I tried
to put this in Device section but didn't work either.
This is my xorg.conf (I commented screen section to be able to login
using X's)
Section "Device"
Identifier "Default Device"
Option "NoLogo" "True"
Option "RegistryDwords" "PowerMizerEnable=0x1; PerfLevelSrc=0x2222;
PowerMizerLevel=0x3; PowerMizerDefault=0x3; PowerMizerDefaultAC=0x3;
EndSection
#Section "Screen"
# Option "RegistryDwords" "EnableBrightnessControl=1"
#EndSection
I really don't know why "Device" is the only section I have, usually in
other linux installations I have screen, monitor, device, mouse, etc
etc. Could you provide your complete xorg file?
Have you find a workaround for volume and playback hotkeys? I rarely use
de SD card, I don't have any USB 3.0 device, I feel confortable using
the screen brigthness at MAX and the backlight of the keyboard is just a
luxury :) but lose the quick control of my music is a real real pain.
