Yup, that seems to be a bug in dbusmenu or directly in NM-applet that
causes it to lose part of the menu. I think you should also be able to
see another copy of the icon, and that one would work.
My guess is you also can't click on any of the items to do stuff, so
I'll go ahead and mark this as a duplicate of bug 779754.
