I confirm, hdaps don't work now on z61p.
~$ uname -r
2.6.20-15-generic
:~$ modprobe hdaps
FATAL: Error inserting hdaps
(/lib/modules/2.6.20-15-generic/kernel/drivers/hwmon/hdaps.ko): Operation not
permitted
:~$ dmesg
hdaps: supported laptop not found!
hdaps: driver init failed (ret=-19)!
