This bug affects me as well. Unfortunately I had cleared the older
kernel 2.6.32-32-generic with Ubuntu Tweak before I realised this
problem and that it was associated with the new kernel. I don't know
how to get the older kernel 2.6.32-32-generic back onto my computer.

I have a Sony Vaio VGN-CR92HS and a Toshiba Canvio Plus 1TB.

Hope this gets solved quickly, or at least some one will help me get the
old kernel back.
