Thanks for letting me know the behavior of Update Manager, BUT I have to strongly disagree. The command:
sudo apt-get dist-upgrade was successful (installed even those packages, which were grayed out and de-installed chromium-browser-inspector), therfore the behavior of Update Manager is IMO wrong. And I waited two days, therefore I exclude a mirror update reason--I select the main server, which I expect to be the first to be updated. Also, the chromium PPA caused even a fully correct linux-kernel NOT to be selectable from Update Manager; I really think this should be further investigated.
