Update:
I removed the wifi security from my network to make things easier, but I
still can't to it using the USB dongle. I used "gnome-control-center
network" and CLI commands ("sudo iwconfig wlan1 essid MyNetwork" etc),
but with no result. A snippet from dmesg:
[ 692.537349] wlan1: direct probe to 50:67:f0:d7:61:ac (try 1/3)
[ 692.735322] wlan1: direct probe to 50:67:f0:d7:61:ac (try 2/3)
[ 692.935039] wlan1: direct probe to 50:67:f0:d7:61:ac (try 3/3)
[ 693.138710] wlan1: direct probe to 50:67:f0:d7:61:ac timed out
[ 698.922607] wlan1: direct probe to 00:25:86:cd:ee:a0 (try 1/3)
[ 699.120745] wlan1: direct probe to 00:25:86:cd:ee:a0 (try 2/3)
[ 699.320411] wlan1: direct probe to 00:25:86:cd:ee:a0 (try 3/3)
[ 699.520029] wlan1: direct probe to 00:25:86:cd:ee:a0 timed out
FWIW: wlan0 (note the "0") does connect to the same Wifi point.
I will try the Daily Build to see if that works better.
