If you are building a custom version of evdev, then that is likely the issue. You may have needed a custom evdev module to get it to work properly with the initial driver you were using. However, with the newer driver you are using you should not need a modified evdev.
Please reinstall evdev and see if it resolves the issue: $ sudo apt-get install --reinstall xserver-xorg-input-evdev You also should not need the snippet in /etc/X11/xorg.conf, but I don't think it would harm things either. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/811227 Title: IDEACOM IDC 6650 touchscreen handles no multi-touch To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/evdev/+bug/811227/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
