Just to rule out this possibility - can those of you experiencing this
problem please attach your xorg.conf file and indicate the graphic card
model and monitor model you're using?
We've had reports that for some people, upgrading to Feisty results in
generic monitor settings getting put into xorg.conf (see bug 3731 for
example). Probably that isn't the case here, but it would be worthwhile
to rule it out.
