I thought I'd made it clear in the description that this was reproducible: "We were able to recreate this by having the other user log in again and they received the sound."
Here are some detailed steps though: 1) On an Oneiric system listen to some music using mplayer (likely any app with pulseaudio as the output) 2) Have a user log into an Ubuntu system (fwiw the system we tested with was running 10.10) on the same IP subnet 3) Observe the sound from the system in step 1 wind up on the system in step 2 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to the bug report. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/833374 Title: My sound was stolen by another PC To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/pulseaudio/+bug/833374/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
