Sorry to say that it was urgent work and i was forced to install debian instead of Ubuntu so unable to send you log. Debain worked pretty well on same machine.
My be my download copy was wrong. I downloaded it from ftp.acc.umu.se So if possible, pls send CD pack as soon as possible. Our company works as hardware provider for many government organisation here in india and willing to promote Ubuntu in a BIG way.
