Sorry, h0nig, but no. I don't expect anything to happen to resolve this because, as I said previously, it doesn't rate high in the bug priorities list. 10.10 and 11.04 have huge video problems with Nvidia cards (I'm one of those affected) and hundreds have posted but, as yet, no solution. So I don't hold out much hope of a speedy resolution of this problem. I will add that the problems I'm having with Ubuntu are turning me off quickly, but I cannot bring myself to revert to Windows 7 as my main OS. Well, not yet.
