Checkbox now includes a fully-automated suspend/resume test which runs as part of some test procedures (that for SRU kernels, for instance), the test is named suspend/suspend_advanced_auto.
Even though the test is defined and used by some test suites, we feel it's not adequate for 100% of cases to suspend a system automatically and without warning. Thus, it doesn't run as part of Checkbox's default whitelist (we use a manually-prompted test for that instead). However, the test is written and known to work, and it's just a matter of adding it to the whitelist test file for it to be executed. I'll mark Fix Released based on the above. --- Ubuntu Bug Squad volunteer triager http://wiki.ubuntu.com/BugSquad ** Changed in: checkbox (Ubuntu) Status: Confirmed => Fix Released -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/346308 Title: A fully automated suspend/resume test would be useful To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/checkbox/+bug/346308/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
