This sounds a bit like a standard answer to me. What exactly is it that
you want to reproduce?

To clarify:This is a usability bug, about the look and feel of changing
desktop in the default desktop of Natty. My point is that nothing but
the elements that are actually changing when switching desktop, should
be a part of the sliding animation that occurs when changing desktop.
Hence, only windows locked to a viewport should move, not toolbars,
shadows, desktop image, sticky windows, etc.

Does this clarify it better?
