Well, I basically suggest that the default setting of "Non Sliding Windows" in the "Desktop Wall" plugin of Compiz is set to "(type=Desktop | Notification | Tooltip ) | state=sticky". This disables sliding of everything I suggested, except legacy applet icons, which are the only ones I havn't figured out yet.
