Hi Russ - Thanks for the help - I tried upgrading with the Ubuntu patched version as you recommended, but my system appears to also need a libc6 >=1.12, and only 1.11 is offered through the 10.04 Ubuntu release. I've read a couple of horror stories on line about people hacking upgrades to libc6 - is there a page you can point me to in order to upgrade both openafs and libc6 properly on my kernel upgraded 10.04? Ive had a lot of trouble finding a good solution.
Thanks - Miles On Sep 19, 2011, at 4:00 PM, Russ Allbery wrote: > Miles Pufall <[email protected]> writes: > >> For better memory management and to enable TRIM on an SSD I used >> backports to upgrade the kernel of my 10.04 Ubuntu installation to >> 2.6.38.
