Hi Pete,
Thanks for your report.
There are two issues at play here. First, I notice the bug report prompt
got triggered because this test failed:
graphics/resolution
This is the one that asks whether your display's resolution is correct,
something like:
This display is using the following resolution:\n\n$output\n\nIs this
acceptable for your
display?
Now, in this case it shows this error message: "ERROR: xrandr -q should
return a single line with '*'"
This suggests you were using a dual-monitor setup (could you confirm
whether this is the case?). That problem is addressed in bug 632987 and
should be available in either a Checkbox daily build
(https://code.launchpad.net/~checkbox-dev/+archive/ppa) or by the time
0.12.8 lands in Oneiric (sometime next week hopefully).
Second, the bug reporting functionality is known to be broken due to
changes in Oneiric (see bug 805679 and bug 852201). Since this is the
main issue with this report (i.e. even if a test fails, you should be
able to report a bug about it) I'll set this as a duplicate of bug
805679.
That bug needs a bit of love but we'll get to it in the next couple of
days.
Thanks again!
