I installed the development kernel 3.1.0.
uname -r
3.1.0-0301rc4-generic

If I insert a sandisk flash drive on a USB 2 connection it is not recognized.
If i do 

sudo dmesg | tail

that is the output

Everything it's like the 3.0.0 kernel.
