Have the same bug. Over a 100 instances of desktopcouch-service running, consuming 5-15MB memory each.
One of the processes was using 90%+ of the CPUs. A little googling suggesting that this can be resolved by logging into UbuntuOne. Once I logged in there, the CPU utilisation dropped to normal but the processes are all still sitting in memory. Also of note, though probably should be a different topic: The problem with multiple processes consuming memory & CPU started when I changed the computer's name. Changing computer name apparently disrupts UbuntuOne since the service was active and working well before I changed the name but had stopped / logged me out after, triggering the above mentioned flood of desktopcouch-service instances hogging CPU & memory. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/841379 Title: Many desktopcouch-service processes running To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/desktopcouch/+bug/841379/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
