Have the same bug. Over a 100 instances of desktopcouch-service running,
consuming 5-15MB memory each.

One of the processes was using 90%+ of the CPUs. A little googling
suggesting that this can be resolved by logging into UbuntuOne. Once I
logged in there, the CPU utilisation dropped to normal but the processes
are all still sitting in memory.

Also of note, though probably should be a different topic: The problem
with multiple processes consuming memory & CPU started when I changed
the computer's name. Changing computer name apparently disrupts
UbuntuOne since the service was active and working well before I changed
the name but had stopped / logged me out after, triggering the above
mentioned flood of desktopcouch-service instances hogging CPU & memory.
