I have the same problem with lubuntu/ubuntu 11.04 on shuttle xs35gtv2 with external bluetooth dongle. Other computers with internal bluetooth adadpters have no such issues. I described my problem here: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1853104
