I am working on a solution to the issues that you guys are having. I need tester if anyone is interested.
As for the packages, I took old non-supported packages and changed them. The 3.0 packages are form the 3.0 series that was released on source forge. http://sourceforge.net/projects/mp620/files/FULL/ But these are x86 only. I changed them so that they are compatible with the 64x architecture as well. Also these packages have dependency issues, so there was some re-tooling to get them to work on Modern Ubuntu / Debian. I hope this helps and if anyone is interested, please let me know I should have a beta test install process out in a day or so. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to the bug report. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/773895 Title: Canon printer with Canon's closed-source driver stops working after upgrading Ubuntu from 10.10 to 11.04 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/cups/+bug/773895/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
