Hi, David:
The solution doesn't work but the trouble could be the next:
When I open the sound configuration (configuración de sonido) -in the 
speaker icon-; in the tab input (entrada) I have not device to chose; 
however I have external micro which works with another OS.
Perhaps, could be a drivers problem?
