Thanks so much Till. I will follow up as soon as possible; I have a dialog with Brother, but before reporting to them, will do the tests with HP PSC 1210 as well. I suspect you are right on with the driver anomaly, as Brother for this model have very poor firmware, which is possibly reflected in the driver software as well.
