@mpt, Ok, I understand the rationale for going against the Gnome HIG on preferences. Is this documented somewhere? I.e. are there Unity/Ubuntu UI guidelines somewhere? I also understand that there are going to be entries with and without ellipsis - that's desirable if it is going to mean anything!
Regarding the device entries, I don't really see how they are different from system settings. You would presumably be just as likely to want to edit instead of view printer settings as system settings. In fact, by default the only thing you can do about printers is add/configure one. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/871173 Title: Inconsistent use of ellipsis in session menu entries To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ayatana-design/+bug/871173/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
