Ok, now I'm going through the git logs, between March 14, when 2.6.38 was released, and March 29, the date of .39-rc1. As I can get time., I'll pull, build, and test versions that seem to have interrupt-related changes.
The earliest change that looked important was this, on March 16: Merge branch 'irq-core-for-linus' http://git.kernel.org/?p=linux/kernel/git/torvalds/linux-2.6.git;a=commit;h=5f6fb45466b2273ffb91c9cf209f164f666c33b1 The breakage has not shown up yet; this kernel tested out fine. There are changes in the interrupt code committed by Thomas Gleixner; a couple on the 17th, and several on the 23rd and after. I hope to get to these soon. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/855199 Title: 2.6.39 and later have lost "irqpoll" functionality To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/855199/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
