As of now, apt-get remove libcupsys2 does NOT error out immediately, and now asks me to confirm if I want it to continue after notifying me of what it wants to do. However, it wants to remove a very large number of packages, some of which I am loathe to uninstall, such as gnome or python. Is there a safer way to resolve the issue?
