Do you mean Nautilus crashes by "window closes"?
If yes, could you launch nautilus from gdb, type 'bt' after the crash occurred
and attach the backtrace here?
(Note: needs debug symbols for nautilus installed: sudo apt-get install
nautilus-dbg)
