Turns out this really should be a sync: the only change in
1.2.5-1ubuntu1 is the cjk patch, which currently isn't applied due to a
missing debian/patches/series file, but nonetheless appears to work
properly. After discussion with didrocks and doko it was agreed syncing
was the best course of action for now.
