s3switch was revived in Fedora, based on the patches from the now-dead Debian package plus many more. I will take a look at giving it an upstream home at freedesktop.org and apply all these patches for everybody.
Secondly I would like to make the xorg driver more compatible with it, using stuff from Hans-Juergen's patches. But we need to clean up these patches, for now it is one big patch changing all kind of things. A patch should be a minimal change fixing one issue at a time, otherwise it can not be reviewed and tested properly, and the development history would be unreadable. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to the bug report. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/41355 Title: s3switch segfaults on the thinkpad [patch] To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/s3switch/+bug/41355/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
