On a MacBookPro8,2, the track pad does not respond properly. Single clicks are nearly always interpreted as double clicks and it is not possible to 'click-and-drag'. Perhaps the second problem is tied to the first. The expected behavior is that if the trackpad is tapped once, then the machine interprets it as a single click not a double click. $ lsb_release -rd Description: Ubuntu 11.10 Release: 11.10 + --- + ApportVersion: 1.23-0ubuntu4 + Architecture: amd64 + DistroRelease: Ubuntu 11.10 + InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 11.10 "Oneiric Ocelot" - Release amd64+mac (20111012) + Package: linux (not installed) + ProcEnviron: + PATH=(custom, no user) + LANG=en_US.UTF-8 + SHELL=/bin/bash + Tags: oneiric running-unity + Uname: Linux 3.1.0-999-generic x86_64 + UnreportableReason: The running kernel is not an Ubuntu kernel + UpgradeStatus: No upgrade log present (probably fresh install) + UserGroups: cdrom dialout lpadmin plugdev sambashare ** Attachment added: "Xorg.0.log" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/881830/+attachment/2588238/+files/Xorg.0.log -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/881830 Title: Track pad does not respond properly To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/881830/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
