OK.

hal detects your device but for an unknown reason does not automount it.

you should have a look at the properties set for your device in the
device-manager or in console,which may be easier with the command

hal-device <id_of_the_device>

from your log, hal detected your hard drive under the name
"volume_part1_size_250056705024"

which gives the command

hal-device volume_part1_size_250056705024

(of course your device should be connected)
