Oh I was not my intention to file it agaist the kernel. Sorry about that. Since i didn't know what the package was I used "ubuntu-bug linux" with the intention to then change it to "I don't know" in the web form, which I guess I forgot.
I thought the upgrade had been responsible for uninstalling the touchpad-indicator, since after the upgrade I wasn't seeing it. So my reasoning was: if the upgrade arbitrarily uninstalls touchpad-indicator without notice, it should also reenable the touchpad. But I see the indicator was not uninstalled, it simply stopped working, and i guess indeed the touchpad was disabled because that was its last state before the uypgrade, so you are right, the touchpad-indicator must be at fault. thanks -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/901465 Title: touchpad doesn't work after upgrade 10.10-11.10 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/901465/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
