Hi Martin,
This is likely the same crash I've run into. Have a look at my report
for bug #903526.
As there is more information there for a developer to go on, I'll mark
this bug as a duplicate of that one. It's not clear whether this package
is being actively maintained, however. I have a patch that will work for
the common case of stereo/44.1kHz MP3 files, but a general solution may
be a longer time in coming....
