The path to which slapd wants to back up a db already exists. Could you
try doing:
sudo mv /var/backups/dc=ubserver,dc=jaha-2.4.21-0ubuntu5.6.ldapdb
/var/backups/dc=ubserver,dc=jaha-2.4.21-0ubuntu5.6.ldapdb.orig1
and then continue or restart the update?
