Please don't close the report. The more reports that come in the more likely Toshiba will help. Agreed that it is a serious Toshiba-related problem not a Linux issue, but Ubuntu, and Linux users in general, will benefit from knowing the dangers.
In my opinion, Toshiba needs to make good on these crashed machines. Perhaps allow us to send our machines in, and then replace them with Toshiba laptops that can cleanly run Ubuntu.
