How can this not be a Ubuntu-Linux related problem.????? Just because Toshiba haven't come forward with an explanation and a fix to restore a computer system after it was "apparently" damaged by a software installation is their choice.
Explaining why and what the software installation damaged is clearly a Ubuntu-Linux problem.
