** Description changed:

- See bug 906527.
-
Having done an experiment with iperf across a large number of systems we
have in lab, this system stood out as only achieving bandwidths of 3-4
Mbit/s p/s where other systems were reaching the mid 40s.

Our iperf setup is an iperf server connected by wire to a router which
the test systems then communicate wirelessly with.

Client connecting to 10.153.104.227, TCP port 5001
TCP window size: 21.0 KByte (default)
  ------------------------------------------------------------
  [ 3] local 10.153.104.202 port 34916 connected with 10.153.104.227 port 5001
  [ ID] Interval Transfer Bandwidth
  [ 3] 0.0-30.4 sec 12.1 MBytes 3.35 Mbits/sec

It is confirmed that the 10.153.104.202 IP is bound to the wireless NIC
  mentioned above.

Wireless router is a Linksys WRT54GS v3 running DD-WRT with all bands
  enabled (a/b/g).
