Happens on a mostly up to date precise. When run in a terminal, this is
printed when the crash happens:

Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "/usr/share/emma/emmalib/__init__.py", line 2292, in on_host_popup
    self.xml.get_widget("cw_%s" % n).set_text("")
AttributeError: 'NoneType' object has no attribute 'set_text'

Just doing the natural patch to check if get_widget() returned None is
not sufficient. There is something deeper that causes the problem.

I tried to forward upstream, but upstream seems to have no bug tracker
unfortunately. I have forwarded this to Debian, so marking as Triaged,
importance Medium.
