2 things.
a.) I happend to see bug 820580 in my browser history, which is now marked 
Expired, but is probably a dupe.
      It was reported against linux-virtual 3.0.0.7.8, which might give some 
help for bisect.
b.) We need someone to run a number of different instances (possibly in 
different regions or availability zones) and create a matrix something the 
following for stefan:

arch___| inst_type| zone______| Ubuntu_Kernel_Ver___ | Xen_Hyp_Version___ | 
Result
amd64__| t1.micro_| us-east-1a| 3.0.0-13.22-virtual__| 3.1.2-128.1.10.el5_| FAIL

Getting that for some pass and fail cases would be good.
