I'm moving out of incomplete. The attached user-dtaa script makes
collecting the data as easy as running an intsance with --user-data-file
and then either collecting 'data.txt' from the instance or the instance
console log. I wont have time to poke at this more until after the
holidays but anyone should be able to collect info.
