SergeyS: Hmm. Could you upload /lib/modules/2.6.20-15-generic/modules.dep and the output of md5sum /lib/modules/2.6.20-15-generic/volatile/nvidia.ko then afterwards run: sudo depmod -a Then do another sudo modprobe --ignore-install nvidia ?
