The bug occurs when I input this in into the shell: "evince http://www.intel.com/content/dam/doc/product-brief/h67-express-chipset-2nd-gen-core-brief.pdf"
The file is very small, it is downloaded nearly immediately, when evince is open and I see the file, it is already downloaded completely. But I tried the file-change manually: I touched the file in "/tmp/evince-10004" while it was opened, by: "touch document.BYBL7V-h67-express-chipset-2nd-gen-core-brief.pdf" This doesn't seem to have any influence on the reloading. Then, I tried this: "echo '1' >> document.BYBL7V-h67-express-chipset-2nd-gen-core-brief.pdf" When I entered the echo-command, evince told me a little bit later in the right upper corner that it is reloading, but there wasn't this whole "downloading"-bar, which occurs on the bug. If I download the file and open it this way, it behaves normal and doesn't reload: "evince h67-express-chipset-2nd-gen-core-brief.pdf" ** Attachment added: "Screenshot while file-opening" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/evince/+bug/907570/+attachment/2654555/+files/Screenshot-opening.png -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/907570 Title: evince reloads file every 20 seconds, if opened by http To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/evince/+bug/907570/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
