Public bug reported:

After installing the sssd package for mobile users offline access pam is
configured to create a local account for the remote user. This
configuration is set in common-session. This causes account
synchronisation problems if changes to the account are made on the
server and not the client. E.G changing gecos ldap entry results in the
account being shown twice when running "getent passwd".

When sssd is being used and when a remote user logs in to the machine
only a home directory should be created and no entries made into
/etc/passwd and /etc/group.

** Affects: ubuntu
     Importance: Undecided
