Can you please do the folllowing:
sudo blkid > blkid.txt
sudo dd if=/dev/hda1 bs=1k count=128 > image
This will store the first 128 KB of /dev/hda1 to the file 'image'
(please use the actual device of the vfat partition). Can you please
attach blkid.txt and image?
