I am reopening the Precise task, as I have just tested with Precise Alpha2
build, and the display still turns off after selecting Try ubuntu without
installing from the liveCD, as this blocks starting the user interface at all.
The duplicate of this bug I have reported is #891968, you can find all the info
about my configuration there, please unmark it if it's not a duplicate of this
one.
